Pikes Polish Hill River Estate covers nearly 100 hectares of gentle rolling slopes in Polish Hill River, an eastern sub-region of the renowned Clare Valley in mid-north South Australia. The vineyards are mainly planted on easterly to south-easterly aspects, with an east-west row orientation that provides protection to the vines and grapes from the intense afternoon sun on hot summer days.

Pikes Wines

Founded in 1984 by Andrew and Cathy Pike along with Andrew’s brother Neil. The Pike family have been producing authentic, handcrafted beverages with their first beer sold in 1886, followed by soft drinks and cordials from 1940, then Pikes wine from 1985. It is a family tradition proudly continue to this day, with the next generation running the show. Whilst best known for Riesling, Pikes grow 20 different varieties on the Clare Valley estate.
