Description

The Pouilly Fume is made wholly from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety. The grapes are always harvested at peak maturity, which will enable the development of aromas of fresh cut grass, white flowers, citrus and exotic fruits, infused throughout with the typical Loire elegance and mineral character.

Enjoy as an aperitif or with seafood, oysters, smoked fish or foie gras. Splendid with Goat's cheese.

The Dezat family is one of the oldest wine-growing families in Sancerre. References to the family can be found in records dating as far back as 1550. André Dezat took over the family vineyards in 1948 and actively promoted the wines of Sancerre. In the 1970's, he was joined by his sons, Louis and Simon. Now, his grandson, Firmin, takes on the domain and in an organic direction, keeping it a family business.
