A delicious blend of Syrah, Cabernet and Merlot from Syria - not something you see every day. The Bargylus winery is precisely located near the town of Deir Touma, which literally means "Convent of Thomas", not far from the last vestiges of the Crusader era and the famous Saladin. This is a concentrated red with layers of complexity. Deep, plummy fruit dominate the nose with hints of spice and truffle. Full-bodied on the palate, it has an elegance and hint of minerality in the fruit. Tannins are fine, juicy and smooth. 

We are delighted to annouce that £5 from every bottle of Bargylus sold will be donated to charity Migrateful. Their mission is to empower and celebrate refugees and vulnerable migrants on their journey to integration, by supporting them to run their own cookery classes.
