Sokol Blosser

Skol Blosser is run by Second Generation Winegrowers Alex, Alison, and Nik Sokol Blosser. When their parents Susan Sokol and Bill Blosser planted their first vines in the Dundee Hills AVA (American Viticultural Area) of the Willamette Valley 1971, there was no wine industry in Oregon. Today, winemaking in Oregon has grown exponentially, and Sokol Blosser has survived, grown and prospered as a family-owned and run operation. They are proud to have been part of developing and shaping Oregon’s now prominent wine industry. Their wines are produced sustainably, mindful of the environment, and that express the distinctive flavours of the hillside vineyards.

Willamette Valley

Willamette Valley, located in Oregon, is a renowned wine region celebrated for its exceptional Pinot Noir and cool-climate varietals. The valley benefits from a temperate maritime climate with mild, wet winters and warm, dry summers, creating ideal conditions for viticulture. The region is particularly famous for its Pinot Noir, which thrives in the Willamette Valley’s diverse soils and moderate temperatures, resulting in wines with complex flavours, vibrant acidity, and elegant structure. The valley also produces high-quality Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Riesling, known for their crispness, freshness, and aromatic profiles. Winemaking in Willamette Valley began in the 1960s, and it has since gained international acclaim for its quality and innovation.
