This is a Mediterranean white wine through and through. It is medium to full-bodied with a richness and unexpected texture that comes from the grape selection. On the nose, we experience herbal and white flower tones balanced by fragrant stone fruit aromatics. On the palate, the wine is full, dry and ripe and fresh, with exotic undertones of mandarin peel and scrubland. It has a wonderfully refreshing acidity, which makes it home with complex dishes such as seafood, grilled poultry and mature hard cheese.
A new addition to our Faugeres range and our first white wine from the appellation. This is only the 2nd vintage of Venvole Blanc and is comprised of 60% Grenache Blanc, 40% Marsanne, and a little Terret. The vines are some of the highest planted in the appellation.
