"At around 13% alcohol (the label states 12.5%), there's enough body and roundness to balance all those tangy fruits and enticing aromas. It’s a friendly wine but not a fly-by-night. Organic wine. Deepish cherry red. Intense Cabernet Franc aroma of dark-red fruits (raspberry not strawberry ), leafy without being at all unripe, stony/rocky, cedary like a freshly sharpened pencil. Tannins are moderately chewy but smooth and filled out by the lovely fruit. More full-bodied than you might expect for a wine of only 12.5% alcohol.
