Description

The fruit comes from the El Renegado vineyard which is situated in one of the premium winemaking areas in the DO Utiel-Requena. The vineyard lies approximately 50 miles inland from Valencia and is cultivated without synthetic herbicides and is certified organic.

The grapes were gently pressed and the must was fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks to preserve the white fruit characters of the Macabeo and the delicate floral nuances from the Moscatel. Maturation took place in stainless steel without oak to retain the crisp, refreshing and fruity style.

Bright and aromatic aromas of white fruits and delicate floral notes lead to a refreshing and beautifully balanced palate, with a vibrant fruit character and a crisp finish.

Bodega Nodus

Bodegas Nodus was founded in 1985 by Adolfo de las Heras Marín, after he acquired one of the most ecologically and oenologically valuable estates in the Valencian Community. The estate is 540 hectares of vineyard and forest including native Bobal grape vineyards with plants that are over 40 years old. Adolfo was one of the pioneers of Merlot and Cabernet in this area. His son Adolfo de las Heras Polo took over the bodega at the end of the 1990s imported the rest of the varieties that the winery now offers such as Syrah, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Franc.

Valencia

Valencia, located on Spain's eastern coast, is a prominent wine region known for its diverse wine offerings and favourable Mediterranean climate. It enjoys warm, sunny weather with mild winters, creating ideal conditions for viticulture.
It is particularly celebrated for its robust reds made from local varieties such as Monastrell and Tempranillo, which offer rich fruit flavours, depth, and well-structured profiles. The area also produces notable whites from varieties like Merseguera and Verdejo, known for their freshness, citrus notes, and balanced acidity.
