Description

Vines grow on limestone/clay soils at a very low density (vines are pruned to 7 buds per cane). Hand picked grapes and no destemming ; immediate pneumatic pressing and fermentation in oak barrels with batonnage every day; bottled after 15 months.

A complex wine with lovely toasty notes and aromas of hazelnuts and savoury buttery characters. The palate has more lovely toasty complexity, hazelnuts and cooking apples. This wine is still fresh balanced with tight, nutty acidic structure and good length.
