Description

This rich, textured Pinot Grigio comes from two parcels of the Dessimis vineyard, located in the commune of Mariano del Friuli. The wine is structured and complex, also thanks to the nine months maturation on its lees before bottling. The bouquet is full of sweet pastry aromas, scents of Williams pear skin and notes of yellow fruit. It has extraordinary complexity and structure on the palate. Textured and rich, this wine has a long, persistent finish.

Vie di Romans

The unswerving dedication of the Gallo family to vineyards and wines, dating back over a century, is rooted in the labour and determination of family members such as Basilio, Stelio, Gianfranco and their relatives.

Gianfranco, who has managed the estate since 1978, introduced radical and far-reaching viticultural programmes and has devoted painstaking attention to winemaking practices; these initiatives have given the stamp of unique personality to the wines of Vie di Romans over the last 40 years.

Friuli-Venezia Giulia

Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located in northeastern Italy, is renowned for its diverse and high-quality wines.
