Description

Quimera is architecture and design; it is a unique warm blend that was conceived at the vineyard. Every year Santiago and Roberto look for the meaning within the earth in the search for the impossible wine, making it unique year after year. This results in a wine with deep shades, aromas that range from stony and earthy, of dark fruits to delicate accents of rosemary, open mouthed, almost feminine and deliciously sour. Quimera is heuristic; it is personal discovery and the search of perfection.

"A fresh and ripe nose with a dusty cocoa powder accent to the ripe, inky fruit. Spices and a hint of violets and black peppercorns. A medium- to full-bodied blend of malbec, merlot, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon and petit verdot with flattering ripe fruit and some fine-grained tannins. Hedonistic in style. Drink or hold."

Mendoza

Mendoza, Argentina's most renowned wine region, is synonymous with exceptional winemaking and world-class wines. Nestled at the foothills of the Andes, Mendoza's high-altitude vineyards benefit from abundant sunshine, cool nights, and minimal rainfall, creating perfect conditions for grape cultivation. The area is particularly famous for its Malbec, offering rich, full-bodied wines with dark fruit flavours and a velvety texture. It also excels in producing excellent Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Torrontés. The diverse terroir, with its variety of soils and microclimates, imparts a unique character to its wines. Mendoza remains a must-visit destination for wine lovers seeking outstanding and memorable wines.
