Xinomavro roughly translates as ‘sour black’ and the grape is known for its dark colour, high acidity and big tannins. This example by the Artisans Vignerons de Naoussa cooperative from their younger vines has dark fruit, a herbaceous note and refreshing acidity with rounded well-structured tannins.
