Description

This is a super light, juicy gluggable red, perfect on a hot summer's day. Made from 100% Pamid, an indigenous Bulgarian red grape variety, this wine comes from the Thracian Valley.

The first vineyards of Zagreus winery were planted in 1998 and currently they have 120 hectares of own
vineyards, looking after them organically since 2010, certified in 2013. The winery’s strong belief is that what happens in the vineyard and in their consciousness determines the behaviour in the bottle. It’s about growing the best grapes under the best possible conditions as well as devoting their thoughts and intentions to making a wine that reflects the best their terroir and themselves as a team. It’s about being relentless in the pursuit of quality and trying their best to keep the nature clean.

Spontaneous fermentation in open top oak barrel fermenters, the wine stays on the lees for one month
with daily batonnage. Bottled unfiltered with no added sufites.

A delicate nose of ripe red fruits and herbs, the palate is elegant, light-to-medium bodied, very fresh and fruity carrying the tipicity of the Pamid grape variety. Ripe cherry and raspberry notes along silky tannins, crisp acidity and vibrant fruity finish.
