Description

This wine is made from Aligote grapes grown in two plots in Auxey Duresses: Les Plumes, a clay soil plot in Meursault, and Le Topo du Clou, a limestone soil plot in Meloisey. Agnes Paquet took over these family vines in 1999 and made her first vintage in 2001. She wanted to show the beauty and nobility of Aligote, a grape variety that was often criticised and overlooked. By taking care of the grapes, she produced a wine with finesse, fruit and complexity. Aging in 500l barrels gives it great complexity and length.
