Description

True to its origins and signature, Terra de Cuques charms with its warm and supple nature. Rich black and red fruits reminisce about its many hours of copious sunshine. Yet, a cooling wind threads through the wine as well, as both a fine, persistent acidity and fresh herbal essence. Wonderfully juicy, balanced and expressive, a wine without pretensions, simply telling the liquid story of a place and a people and a time.

Terroir Al Limit

In 2001, Dominik Huber, a food and wine enthusiast from Germany, and winemaker Eben Sadie fell in love with Priorat. They discovered a plot of old-vine Garnacha and Carignan, rented a cellar, and crafted their first vintage of Dits del Terroir. As the project expanded, Dominik focused on farming, introducing biodynamic practices to ease vine stress in the harsh terrain. This shift improved grape quality, leading them to abandon super-ripe fruit and extractive winemaking in favour of whole-bunch fermentation, concrete tanks, and large oak barrels. Dominik now bottles in the Burgundian style, producing pure, expressive wines that have earned cult status. Though Eben has moved on, Dominik remains the heart of the project.

Catalunya

Catalunya, located in northeastern Spain, is a prominent and diverse wine region known for its rich history and wide range of high-quality wines. The region enjoys a Mediterranean climate with warm, dry summers and mild winters, ideal for viticulture. Catalunya is renowned for its exceptional Cava, a sparkling wine produced mainly in the Penedès region, known for its freshness and complexity and the area also excels in producing robust reds from varieties such as Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Cariñena, which offer rich fruit flavours and well-structured profiles. White wines, including those from the Xarel·lo and Macabeo grapes, are celebrated for their crispness and aromatic qualities.
