Description

This wine is aged for 6 months in 35% new French oak barrels with a medium toast level, which adds a subtle vanilla touch to the wine without overpowering the rich fruit. The careful selection and blending of the grapes result in a wine that displays a variety of dark berry flavours, such as black cherry and strawberry. The wine also has spice notes and a long finish of vanilla from the oak ageing and smooth, firm tannins that add complexity to the wine.

It pairs well with charcuterie, gumbo or grilled steak.
