Description

From one of the most historic and respected estates in the appellation, the 2024 vintage delivers everything Tavel lovers crave: intensity, structure, and serious gastronomic appeal.

50% Grenache Noir, 20% Syrah, 10% Clairette, 10% Mourvèdre, 5% Bourboulenc, 5% Cinsault., this is a deep-hued, full-bodied rosé bursting with ripe red berries, blood orange, wild herbs, and a touch of spice. It’s bone-dry, textured, and refreshingly savoury, with the depth to pair with everything from grilled meats to Mediterranean dishes.

Tavel is rosé with backbone, and Château d’Aquéria makes it with precision and flair. The 2024 is vibrant now but has the stuffing to age beautifully over the next few years.

Nestled in the heart of the garrigue with the backdrop of an unmistakeably Mediterranean hillside, the vineyards of Château d’Aqueria extend across the appellations of Tavel and Lirac. Two growths in three colours produced at the estate with passion and pride.

Southern Rhone

The Southern Rhône, a renowned wine region in southeastern France, is celebrated for its diverse and robust wines. Benefiting from a Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters, it is ideal for viticulture. The Southern Rhône is famous for its blends, particularly from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, producing rich, full-bodied reds with complex flavours of dark fruit, spices, and herbs. Châteauneuf-du-Pape is the most prestigious appellation, known for its powerful and age-worthy wines. It also excels in producing aromatic whites and refreshing rosés. With its varied terroir and traditional winemaking techniques, the Southern Rhône offers a captivating wine experience for enthusiasts seeking high-quality and flavourful wines.
