This small, historic estate claims to have produced some of the first Sagrantino wines in Umbria. Owned by Pietro, Donatella, and Daniela Adanti, they also make the lighter-styled wine Montefalco Rosso, which is softened by a splash of Sangiovese. Pungent aromas of blackberry, black cherry, and violet lead to flavours of plum, blueberry, vanilla, tobacco, and cinnamon. It's a very nice and very Italian wine.
