Orange Is the New Red - a collection of some of our favourite 'Orange' or skin-contact wines. The case includes 10% off and contains:
A Greek wine made from the native Savatiano grape. On the nose, ripe peach and banana are combined with quince, Turkish delight and icing sugar. Vanilla and feel of cream and biscuit complete the particular aromatic profile. Medium volume body, intense, dry, with perfectly balanced acidity. Pepper, ginger and mint complement the quince, peach and grapefruit and all together lead to the good length, spicy aftertaste
Deuric is a Serbian winery that makes award-winning organic orange wines. This one is a blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Gris, fermented with the skins for a month. It has a deep amber color and a complex aroma of roasted sesame seeds, apricot jam, honey, and orange peel. The taste is full-bodied and smooth, with a refreshing acidity and a lingering aftertaste of dried fruits and nuts.
This white wine comes from a vineyard of two-century-old field blends. It has an exotic aroma and a smooth, warm flavour.
