Description

Crush and Brisk is the project of John and Frances Needham, long-time wine lovers with a shared passion for Blanc de Noirs. Enlisting Blackbook as collaborator, their ambition is simple: ethereal, quality-driven sparkling wine. Pinot Noir from the Shotley Peninsula on the Suffolk coast, whole bunch pressed and fermented in stainless steel, then aged on lees in bottle for a minimum of four years. The result is precise and focused: white peach, dried apple, and a hint of emerging brioche, with crisp acidity, light chalky minerality, and a clean, savoury finish.
