Just a few years ago, really good Pinot Noir from Argentina was something of a novelty, and it was often very expensive. Happily those days are drifting slowly into memory with the advent of excellent wines like this. A simple wine in many ways (and often the best wines are), but very true to the varietal with nice aromas of ripe red summer fruits and forest floor notes; light, fresh and juicy on the palate. It's from Patagonia, of course, widely regarded as the country's best source of Pinot.
