It's not every day a that winemaker from New Zealand is in town. So when Beth Forrest said she would like to host a tasting of her wines for us, we couldn't say no! Come and meet Beth and try five wines from her Marlborough estate.

Nestling in Marlborough's acclaimed Wairau Valley, Forrest Estate benefits from stony soils and long hours of sunshine, creating ideal conditions for producing distinctive, high-quality wine. Founded in 1988 by Drs John and Brigid Forrest, both with scientific backgrounds, their expertise and passion have establish a solid reputation for the estate.

Keeping it in the family, today their daughter, Beth, is the winemaker who combines the family's tradition with innovation in winemaking. Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Albariño and Riesling are amongst the wines produced. Known for their vibrant and expressive styles, these wines capture the essence of Marlborough's terroir, offering freshness, complexity and elegant balance.

This is an informal tasting event standing around the tasting island in the shop. Book this slot and then come and try as many of the wines as you like!
