Description

A certified organic red wine made from 100% Marselan, grown on white clay soils and crafted without added sulphites. Deep ruby in colour with violet highlights, it offers an expressive nose of blackberries, blackcurrants and subtle sweet spices. The palate is smooth and rounded, with ripe red fruit flavours reminiscent of fresh compote, balanced by soft tannins and a gentle touch of spice. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and made from hand-harvested grapes, this wine reflects a pure, natural style with a persistent, harmonious finish. Ideal with grilled meats, roasted vegetables or aged cheeses.

Chateau de Cranne

Perched in the heart of Donzac, within Bordeaux’s renowned Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, Château de Cranne is a vibrant, family-run estate with roots stretching back to 1856. Now in the hands of Vincent Lacoste—the seventh generation of the Lacoste family—this 42-hectare domaine has become a beacon of sustainable winemaking, earning organic certification in 2009. Vincent’s forward-thinking approach, paired with deep respect for tradition, brings out the best in the estate’s diverse terroirs. Here, classic Bordeaux grapes—Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscadelle—flourish to produce wines that are consistently praised for their finesse, depth, and vivid expression of place.

Bordeaux

Bordeaux, one of the most prestigious wine regions in the world, is located in southwestern France and is celebrated for its exceptional wines. It benefits from a temperate maritime climate, influenced by the nearby Atlantic Ocean, providing ideal conditions for viticulture. It is particularly renowned for its red wines, primarily blends of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, offering rich, complex flavours and excellent ageing potential. Notable sub-regions include Médoc, Saint-Émilion, and Pomerol. Bordeaux also produces exquisite white wines, both dry, from Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, and sweet, from the Sauternes and Barsac areas. The region's unique terroir, combined with centuries-old winemaking traditions, results in wines of unparalleled quality and distinction. Bordeaux remains a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts seeking world-class wines and a rich viticultural heritage.
