Chateau la Negly

Located deep in the Languedoc of France, facing the Mediterranean, in the La Clape massif, one of the sunniest places in France. Ideally exposed, the terroirs of La Négly and Boède are distinguished by the diversity of their soils. The soil of Boède is sandy loam and sandstone, while that of Négly is clay-limestone, which gives the wines from these vineyards a wide aromatic pallet. The wines are renowned for their saline/coastal character with lots of freshness and minerality.

Languedoc-Roussillon

Languedoc-Roussillon, situated in southern France, is renowned for its diverse and high-quality wines. It benefits from a Mediterranean climate, with abundant sunshine, hot summers, and mild winters, ideal for viticulture. Languedoc-Roussillon produces a wide variety of wines, including robust reds from grape varieties like Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre, as well as crisp, refreshing whites and rosés. The area is also known for its excellent sparkling wines, particularly Crémant de Limoux. The diverse terroir, ranging from coastal plains to mountainous areas, and a mix of traditional and innovative winemaking techniques result in wines with distinctive character and depth. Languedoc-Roussillon is a must-visit for wine enthusiasts seeking a rich and varied wine experience.
