Description

Wines created in the Tokaj Wine Region have a unique character, a distinct minerality. They have a wonderfully taut acid structure and offer wines perfect for a light or a heavier meal or simply to enjoy during a pleasant lunch with friends. The Tokaji Furmint Selection is in the more complex style, rich Furmint with distinctive citrus flavours and dried tropical fruits (passion fruit, pineapple). Try with duck breast, roast game and pork.

Chateau Pajzos

The story of Pajzos Tokaj began with Jean-Michel Arcaute, a winemaker from Bordeaux. In 1991, the Château Clinet winery in Bordeaux, owned by Arcaute's wife, was bought by the French insurance company GAN. However, the head of the winery remained Arcaute, who was considered the "mad genius" of the wine world at the time. Thanks to him, Tokaj became the main investment target for the GAN insurance company and the CFGVT investor group.
