Description

Bright in the glass with tinges of green and white-gold. Classic aromas of citrus zest, candied peels, dragon fruit, honey and hints of herbs are framed by a clear, steely minerality. This is an attractively textural wine displaying the variety's intense purity. Bone-dry, its structure and length is underpinned by bracing acidity.

Dandelion Vineyards

Dandelion Vineyards was founded by Elena Brooks. When Elena was a young girl in Bulgaria, her mother worked in a winery, where she helped translate for Australian tourists after school. By the age of 12, she was interpreting barrel tastings with the winemakers. By the age of 15, she had the wine knowledge and vocabulary of a veteran, and by 16 she was making her first batches of Chardonnay. After studying and working in many wine regions of the world, she settled in McLaren Vale, Australia with her husband and two children. Elena is recognised as one of Australia’s brightest stars.

South Australia

South Australia, the heart of Australian winemaking, is renowned for its diverse wine regions and exceptional quality. Home to the iconic Barossa Valley, the state produces some of the world's finest Shiraz, known for its bold, rich flavours. The cooler climate of the Adelaide Hills is perfect for elegant Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, while the Clare Valley is celebrated for its crisp, aromatic Riesling. McLaren Vale is famed for its robust Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon. The diverse terroir, from coastal regions to high-altitude vineyards, allows for a wide variety of grape varieties and wine styles. South Australia remains a must-visit destination for wine lovers seeking premium, world-class wines.
