Sercial is used to make Madeira's drier styles growing, as it does, in the island's highest vineyards. D'Oliveras Colheita wines are aged for as long as possible in barrels and are bottled immediately before export to gain maximum complexity. A slightly floral , volatile nose, delicate and refined dryness on the palate reminiscent of limes. The finish is long and bone dry. A fabulous aperitif.
