The “Tavannes” is from 45 year old vines just next to Les Epenots, fruit is typically 100% destemmed. Lots of power alongside dark, dense fruit, lifted by hints of fresh raspberry, damson and an iron note. Ripe, succulent, elegant and delicious. Classic Pommard in style which would work very well with roast pork.
