Description

Sourced from organically cultivated vineyards at 350–500 metres elevation on clay-limestone soils in the Taburno DOCG area of Sannio, Campania. Fermentation is carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with no malolactic fermentation, to retain freshness and varietal precision.

The 2022 vintage shows a focused aromatic profile of white peach, citrus zest, green almond, and wildflowers, supported by a distinct mineral backbone. The palate is medium-bodied and textural, with vibrant acidity driving flavours of stone fruit, grapefruit, and a saline, slightly smoky finish. Structured yet crisp, this Fiano combines freshness with subtle complexity and has the capacity to develop additional nutty and honeyed nuances over 3–5 years of bottle ageing.

Fattoria La Rivolta

Fattoria La Rivolta, founded over 150 years ago in Torrecuso, Benevento, began with Giovanni and Teresa planting vineyards. Since 1997, the third generation has produced wines exclusively from native Sannio grapes—Falanghina, Coda di Volpe, Fiano, Greco, Aglianico, and Piedirosso—using 100% organic cultivation certified by ICEA. Their passion for quality and tradition shines through in every bottle.

Campania

Campania, a region in southern Italy known for its rich cultural and historical heritage, is celebrated for its diverse and high-quality wines. It benefits from a warm Mediterranean climate and varied soils, including volcanic, which contribute to its unique terroirs. The area is particularly famous for its robust reds, such as Taurasi, made from the Aglianico grape, offering deep, complex flavours with notes of dark fruit, spice, and earthy undertones. It also excels in whites, notably from the Fiano di Avellino and Greco di Tufo grapes, which produce aromatic wines with crisp acidity, floral notes, and minerality. With a blend of traditional winemaking practices and modern innovation, Campania offers a rich and captivating wine experience.
