Javier Revert has hit the ground running as the new winemaker at Finca Sandoval. Salia is made from old-vine Bobal and estate-grown Syrah grapes, which are co-fermented to create a precise and mineral wine.
The nose is precise and minerally, with a taut smokey, graphite character. The palate is beautifully defined, with black cherry and blackberry fruit, a hint of cinnamon bark, velvety tannins and a long, pure finish.
