All three grapes have a presence in this rich white wine. Fermentation is in new French and Hungarian barrels at 14ºC for 3 weeks. Then it is aged “sur lies” with “battonage” to intensify its flavours. Intense peaches and lime aromas are the result and it has been given more complexity with vanilla from the oak. The palate is rich in fruit and minerals and well-balanced acidity. It is truly a magnificent big white from the heart of Alentejo that is ideal for those not-so-perfect British summers! To accompany with rich fish dishes (in creamy or tomato sauces) and white meats and pasta dishes such as carbonara.
