Description

Marcillac is a small appellation in the western foothills of the Massif Central. This wine, made from the appellation's signature variety, is full of attractive red fruits and light tannins. It is all fruit, no wood aging, fresh and fruity, ready to drink now. Bright violet color. A fresh, expressive nose with notes of blackcurrant, licorice and violet. The palate confirms these aromas with a supple, lively, gourmet and easily digestible expression. A cuvée of pleasure to be enjoyed slightly chilled, with a wide choice of dishes, such as grilled meats, poultry, blanquette de veau, osso bucco or couscous.

South-West

The South West Region of France, known for its diverse landscapes and rich winemaking heritage, offers a wide variety of distinctive wines. Benefiting from a mix of Atlantic and Mediterranean influences, the region's climate is ideal for viticulture. It is renowned for its robust reds, such as Malbec from Cahors and Tannat from Madiran, which are known for their deep colour, intense flavours, and excellent ageing potential. The area also produces elegant whites from grapes like Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng in Jurançon, known for their aromatic and vibrant profiles.
