Maculan's Vespaiolo DOC is a white wine that captures the essence of the Vespaiola vine, native to the Breganze area in the Veneto. The soils, composed of basalt and tufa, are rich in minerals and well drained, giving the Vespaiola grapes an intense minerality and marked freshness.The Maculan winery, one of the most established and respected in the region, dedicates particular attention to the production of this wine, taking care of every phase of the production process to guarantee maximum varietal and territorial expression. 

The vinification of Vespaiolo DOC involves manual harvesting of the grapes at the optimal moment of ripeness, followed by delicate pressing and fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. This method allows you to preserve the primary aromas of the vine, emphasizing its fruity and floral notes. In some cases, Maculan may choose to refine the wine briefly on the lees, to add complexity and structure to the flavor profile.

Visually, Vespaiolo DOC has a light and brilliant straw yellow color. On the nose, it offers an intensely aromatic and inviting bouquet, with aromas of white flowers, notes of citrus fruits, in particular lemon and cedar, and accents of white pulp fruit, such as apple and pear. 

In the mouth, Vespaiolo di Maculan reveals itself to be fresh and lively, with a well-balanced acidity that supports its structure and enhances its fruity flavours. The typical minerality of the volcanic soil emerges with elegance, giving it a long and pleasant aromatic persistence.
