Inseparable is a new bottling from the lower part of PerSe’s incredible El Monasterio vineyard in Gualtallary. The wine is fresh, pure and supple with juicy red cherry and plum fruit on the nose. It’s very bright and elegant in the mouth with fresh fruit with a bit of crunch on the finish.
Gualtallary is a high-altitude sub-appellation in the south of the Uco Valley - ranging from 1200-1600 meters above sea level - where average day and nighttime temperatures are 3-6 degrees lower than in the city of Mendoza. The Monasterio vineyard, at 1,500m, has a similar climate to Alsace or Champagne. The grapes for Inseparable come from a 2-hectare plot at the bottom of the site, with calcareous gravels and sand, with a top soil of wind-blown loess.
