Remoissenet Pere et Fils is a reference point for refined Burgundy wines. This ancient estate, connected by mortar and stone to the medieval walls of Beaune, is for serious collectors linked by vine and bottle to Burgundy’s hallowed past and its exciting future.
The Remoissenet estate was established in the 1870s and has recently come under new new ownership once again. I tasted with the entire team at Remoissenet including President Pierre Rovani General Manager Bernard Repolt Winemaker Claudie Jobard and Vineyard Manager Fred Le Prince. Remoissenet continues to ratchet up the quality of their reds. Given the houses preference for texturally rich wines the super 2015 vintage provided attractive balancing elements here.
