Description

A rare gem of the Langhe, Nascetta is an ancient local variety once nearly lost to history. Reverdito’s 2022 expression is bright and characterful, offering delicate aromas of citrus blossom, white peach, and ripe pear, layered with subtle hints of wild herbs and crushed stone. On the palate, it is textured yet vibrant, with a refreshing core of lemon zest and orchard fruits, balanced by a fine saline minerality. The finish is clean, persistent, and lightly savoury, making it a superb partner for seafood, fresh cheeses, or simply enjoyed as an apéritif.

Reverdito

Reverdito Winery, founded in 2000 in La Morra, stems from Silvano Reverdito’s 1967 vineyard in Bricco Cogni. The family now owns 26 hectares across top Barolo DOCG sites like Ascheri and Bricco San Pietro. Michele and Sabina continue the legacy, focusing on sustainable viticulture with agronomist Beppe Vivalda. Avoiding invasive chemicals, they preserve the Langhe’s natural balance, producing wines that reflect the rich terroir and their commitment to responsible winemaking.

Piedmont

Piedmont or Piemonte, located in northwestern Italy, is renowned for its prestigious and diverse wines. The region's varied climate and rich soils, particularly in the Langhe and Monferrato areas, are ideal for viticulture. It is famous for its robust reds, especially Barolo and Barbaresco, both made from the Nebbiolo grape, known for their complex aromas, rich tannins, and ageing potential. It also excels in Barbera, producing wines with vibrant acidity and cherry notes, and Dolcetto, offering fruit-forward, approachable reds. On the white side, Gavi, made from the Cortese grape, is known for its crisp, refreshing character. Piemonte’s blend of traditional winemaking techniques and modern innovations offers a rich and sophisticated wine experience.
