Description

Artemis is sourced from a selection of estate vineyards and trusted growers across Napa Valley, with a strong focus on sites around Stags Leap District. Careful ageing in French oak builds structure and depth while allowing the purity of Cabernet Sauvignon to remain front and center.

The result is a polished and expressive Cabernet, layered with notes of blackcurrant, dark cherry and plum, alongside hints of cocoa, cedar and sweet spice. Silky tannins and a long, balanced finish give the wine both immediate appeal and the structure to develop beautifully in the cellar.

Stag's Leap Wine Cellars

Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars is a landmark Napa estate best known for its elegant Cabernet Sauvignon, especially following its historic success in the 1976 Judgment of Paris. The winery focuses on expressing the volcanic terroir of the Stags Leap District through meticulous vineyard management, hand harvesting, and small-lot vinification. Winemaking emphasizes gentle extraction, controlled fermentation, and careful oak aging to preserve balance, finesse, and structure. The result is wines with refined tannins, dark fruit intensity, and long aging potential.

Napa Valley

Napa Valley, located in Northern California, is one of the world's most renowned wine regions. Famous for its exceptional wine quality and beautiful landscapes, it benefits from a Mediterranean climate with warm days and cool nights, ideal for viticulture. Particularly celebrated for its full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon and rich Chardonnay, which are among the most sought-after wines globally, the region also produces notable Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Sauvignon Blanc, each reflecting the valley's diverse terroirs and microclimates. Historically, Napa Valley's winemaking roots date back to the 19th century, but it gained significant prominence in the 1970s with its success in international wine competitions.
