Description

Masseria Maime is a great wine produced by Tormaresca with Negroamaro grapes from vineyards cultivated with Apulian sapling and spurred cordon in the Tenuta Maìme in San Pietro Vernotico (BR). After racking the wine is passed directly into French and Hungarian oak barrels, where it underwent malolactic fermentation, remaining 12 months before being bottled. A further 12 months of aging in bottle followed. The wine is characterized by an intense ruby red colour. It has a floral scent (violet, pink), red fruit (black cherry, mulberry), spicy notes (liquorice, anise, cinnamon, cloves). On the palate, it releases a dry and elegant taste with balanced and soft tannins. Serve at a temperature of 18-20 ° C.
