The wine has a clean, intense, bright purple colour with a bluish rim. It has tinted, abundant, and slow-falling tears. The wine has good intensity with aromas of red and black fruits such as sloes and cassis, with light touches of vanilla. There is a perfect balance between fruit and oak. The palate is fresh, creamy, and fleshy, and it has volume with agility. The acidity is well balanced with the alcohol, making it pleasant and very Spanish. It has a long and persistent finish.
This wine is perfect for cheeses, sausages, and lamb, and it goes well with traditional dishes such as stews and casseroles.
