Description

12 Volts is the second label of Mallorca's 4 Kilos winery, and it wears the name well. A blend built on the local Callet and Fogoneu, filled out with Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, sourced from organically farmed vineyards across the north and south of the island, on calcareous clay soils at 150 metres. Fermented in stainless steel and aged for nine months in a mix of foudre and French oak, it keeps its energy intact, with bright red fruit, a touch of liquorice and dried herb, and a fresh, lively finish. Vibrant and intensely drinkable, this is a wine that provides a figurative, as well as literal, jolt of energy.
