One of the appellation's most reliable addresses, and this vintage confirms why. The nose is heady yet focused, offering ripe white peach, apricot blossom and honeysuckle alongside a more restrained mineral thread that keeps the whole thing honest. There is none of the cloying excess that lesser Condrieu can fall into.
On the palate, the texture is rich and viscous without being heavy, with fresh acidity providing genuine lift and direction. Flavours of poached pear, ginger and a lick of almond skin carry through to a clean, persistent finish. Viognier at its most poised and complete.
