Badia a Passignano Gran Selezione is produced exclusively from the selection of the best Sangiovese grapes coming from the estate of the same name located in the heart of Chianti Classico.The area has been renowned for its wine production since the year one thousand.The vineyards extend over soil rich in limestone rock with an average amount of clay at a height of approximately 300 meters above sea level. The refinement takes place in the historic cellars of the 10th century Badia di Passignano.

Deep ruby red in colour, Badia a Passignano 2020 presents itself on the nose with hints of black cherries, rose and delicate notes of milk chocolate and cocoa; floral sensations of lavender, irises, saffron and face powder complete the bouquet. On the palate it is lively, vibrant, slender and characterized by a long and savory finish.
