Description

Our most popular Loire Sauvignon, and now award-winning; preferred by many to its more upfront and tropical New World cousins. This crisp, dry Sauvignon has lovely aromatics with an intense grassy-lemon nose, a supple palate and delicate flavours of gooseberry with subtle touches of green apple, kiwi, passion fruit and pineapple to delight the palate and engage the senses. It is well-balanced with a long, pleasing finish.

The obvious accompaniment to asparagus with hollandaise but should be tried with goats cheese and works well with tuna dishes.

Domaine Bellevue

Domaine Bellevue is located in Noyers-sur-Cher. Four generations have succeeded one another on the estate. Patrick Vauvy, who settled in 1985, developed direct sales and focused on quality. Since then, investments have always been considered to improve quality, both in the vineyard and in the cellar. The wines regularly win medals in the most prestigious competitions and are cited in various guides and professional journals. They are elegant, fruity, complex wines, pleasant to drink, easy to appreciate in their youth.

Loire Valley

The Loire Valley in France is a prestigious wine region renowned for its diverse wines and picturesque landscapes. Stretching along the Loire River, it benefits from a varied climate and a range of soil types, ideal for viticulture. It is particularly famous for its white wines, including the crisp and mineral-rich Sauvignon Blanc from Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé, and the aromatic Chenin Blanc from Vouvray and Saumur. The area also produces excellent reds, such as the light and fruity Cabernet Franc from Chinon and Bourgueil. Rosé and sparkling wines, like Crémant de Loire, add to the diversity of the region. With its rich winemaking heritage, varied terroirs, and high-quality wines, the Loire Valley offers an exceptional experience for wine enthusiasts seeking both classic and innovative wines.
