Description

Aglianico wines are known for their savoury and earthy character, which provides a unique contrast of flavours. Their complex and rich palate is a blend of leather, white pepper, black fruits, and cured meat. As they mature, they develop soft and dusty aromas of dried figs and sun-tanned leather, adding depth and nuance to the wine. These are rustic wines that celebrate the terroir and traditions of their origin.

Fattoria La Rivolta

Fattoria La Rivolta, founded over 150 years ago in Torrecuso, Benevento, began with Giovanni and Teresa planting vineyards. Since 1997, the third generation has produced wines exclusively from native Sannio grapes—Falanghina, Coda di Volpe, Fiano, Greco, Aglianico, and Piedirosso—using 100% organic cultivation certified by ICEA. Their passion for quality and tradition shines through in every bottle.

Campania

Campania, a region in southern Italy known for its rich cultural and historical heritage, is celebrated for its diverse and high-quality wines. It benefits from a warm Mediterranean climate and varied soils, including volcanic, which contribute to its unique terroirs. The area is particularly famous for its robust reds, such as Taurasi, made from the Aglianico grape, offering deep, complex flavours with notes of dark fruit, spice, and earthy undertones. It also excels in whites, notably from the Fiano di Avellino and Greco di Tufo grapes, which produce aromatic wines with crisp acidity, floral notes, and minerality. With a blend of traditional winemaking practices and modern innovation, Campania offers a rich and captivating wine experience.
