This wine is made from two plots of Chenin grapes aged between 80 to 100 years. These plots are situated on a hillside with clay-limestone soil near the Loire River, facing South-East. The wine is produced by direct pressing and fermenting with indigenous yeasts. It is then aged for 18 months on fermentation lees in 228-litre barrels, of which one-third are new. The wine is bottled without filtration. Absolutely sensational Chenin Blanc packed with flavour and elegance.
