Made by Bouvet-Ladubay, the second oldest producer of sparkling wine in Saumur. The wine is crafted in Ladubays high-tech winery in St-Hilaire-St-Florent. A high proportion of Chenin Blanc lends this sparkler a lovely richness and lots of ripe apple and white floral flavours with a hint of honey - yum.

Bouvet Laudubay

Founded by Étienne Bouvet in 1851. He then founded the "Maison" Bouvet Ladubay, to which he associated the name of his wife, Célestine Ladubay. Over the years the estate has changed hands a few times, in 2015 the Monmousseau family (who controlled the estate from 1932-1974) purchased back 100% of the shares. Since 1851 Bouvet-Ladubay has been a true historical monument of fine Loire bubbles. Through 160 years of history and passion, they have produced numerous vintages with incomparable expertise.

Loire Valley

The Loire Valley in France is a prestigious wine region renowned for its diverse wines and picturesque landscapes. Stretching along the Loire River, it benefits from a varied climate and a range of soil types, ideal for viticulture. It is particularly famous for its white wines, including the crisp and mineral-rich Sauvignon Blanc from Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé, and the aromatic Chenin Blanc from Vouvray and Saumur.
