Description

Straw yellow in colour with golden reflections. Very fruity, with hints of peach, pineapple, magnolia and honey.  On the palate, the wine is dry, warm, soft with adequate freshness and a good aromatic persistence on the finish.

Macchialupa

The winery was born in 2001 from the meeting of the love of an oenologist for Fiano di Avellino and Aglianico di Taurasi and the passion of an agronomist/winemaker for Greco di Tufo. Valle del Sabato, on the border of the province of Avellino, extends a territory with the typical hilly aspect with wide valleys and high ridges. On these ridges at an altitude of 450 meters above sea-level, the well-prepared territory is suitable to welcome the Greco vine.

Campania

Campania, a region in southern Italy known for its rich cultural and historical heritage, is celebrated for its diverse and high-quality wines. It benefits from a warm Mediterranean climate and varied soils, including volcanic, which contribute to its unique terroirs. The area is particularly famous for its robust reds, such as Taurasi, made from the Aglianico grape, offering deep, complex flavours with notes of dark fruit, spice, and earthy undertones. It also excels in whites, notably from the Fiano di Avellino and Greco di Tufo grapes, which produce aromatic wines with crisp acidity, floral notes, and minerality. With a blend of traditional winemaking practices and modern innovation, Campania offers a rich and captivating wine experience.
