Rich and fruity, with plum, cherry and berry fruit alongside liquorice and balsamic notes. The palate is smooth and balanced, with soft tannins and crisp acidity. The finish is long and mineral, with touches of sweet spice and ripe plum. Complex and elegant, with plenty of life ahead.
A blend of 84% Tempranillo, 9% Graciano, 5% Mazuelo and 2% Garnacha from Marqués de Murrieta's Ygay Estate. It spends 19 months in American oak barrels, giving it a complex and elegant character.
Great with lamb, beef and, of course, jamón.
