Redbreast Whiskey

The first reference to Redbreast Whiskey dates as far back as 1912. The name comes from the Chairman of Gilbey’s who was an avid bird-fancier. The last bottling of Redbreast by Gilbey’s was in 1985. In 1991 Redbreast was re-introduced by Irish Distillers Limited. Built on a loyal following of ‘those in the know’, today Redbreast is the largest selling Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey in the world and is considered the definitive expression of the traditional Irish spirit.
