Tasting note

A luminous, textural white blending Grenache Gris and Macabeu. It opens with delicate aromas of white peach, fennel, and crushed stones. The palate is pure and saline, with a fine, chalky grip and subtle citrus zest driving the long, mineral finish. A poised and quietly complex wine that captures both freshness and depth.

Le Roc des Anges is not the kind of domaine you expect to find in the Roussillon. Marjorie and Stéphane Gallet have constructed an organic and biodynamic wine sanctuary in the Vallée de l’Agly, a nearly deserted vineyard land and one of the most difficult places in France to make a living in vineyards. They produce very small quantities of wines, committing to ecological practices and minimal intervention in both the vineyard and the winery.
