Description

A multi-varietal blend of Italian-native grapes. The majority is Arneis, Dolchetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo, but the blend contains small amounts of Montepulciano, Vermentino, Trebbiano, and Grignolino. Made by carbonic maceration, this is on the border between a light red and dark rose, and is delicious chilled.

On the nose, Feints reveals peppery raspberries and foresty meaty aromas. The palate is equally intriguing. It has lively, fresh acidity, and just a hint of tannic grip. One for a plate charcuterie or just on its own.

Ruth Lewandowski

“Ruth” is more of a concept more than a living, breathing individual. A concept born out of the affiliation of the winemaker and owner Evan Lewandowski's philosophy of farming and winemaking as well the Old Testament of the Bible's book of Ruth which he sees as a compelling depiction of the natural cycle of death and redemption. Ruth Lewandowski wines are based in beautiful Healdsburg, the nexus of Sonoma County's California wine universe, USA. Evan purchases his fruit from a variety of vineyards while winemaking is rooted in his hands-off philosophy, with no acid, sugar, water, tannin, filtration, or cultured yeast.

North Coast

The North Coast of California is a premier wine region known for its exceptional quality and diverse wine offerings. Comprising key areas such as Napa Valley, Sonoma County, and Mendocino County, the North Coast benefits from a Mediterranean climate with cool coastal influences, which enhances its wine production.Napa Valley is celebrated globally for its rich, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon and complex Chardonnay. Sonoma County offers a diverse range of wines, including high-quality Pinot Noir and Zinfandel, while Mendocino is known for its organic and sustainable wine practices, producing notable reds and whites.
